TWO cars and a caravan were damaged in a deliberate fire.

Firefighters attended the scene to find the incident involved a pair of cars and a small towing caravan outside a commercial property.

The Leader:

A touring caravan was also damaged

The North Flintshire policing team confirmed a Ford Focus Estate, a Ford Focus Hatchback and a touring attack were damaged in an arson attack.

Sgt Bethan Pritchard said they received the call just before midnight, adding: "Fortunately, no-one was hurt."

The fire crew used a hose reel jet and a set of breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.

A spokesman for the service told the Leader about 10 to 20 per cent fire damage was caused to each car and the caravan.

The cause was confirmed to have been deliberate ignition.
