MELIDEN Brownies planted a tree to finish the celebrations to their 50th anniversary year.
A small group of families, friends and guiders gathered on Tuesday 9th July to watched the Brownies help plant the tree with the Prestatyn Mayor cllr Tony Flynn.
A spokesperson for the Brownies said: “We are now looking forward to the years ahead and are aiming for our next mile stone. “
The Brownies meet on Tuesday evenings at 5.45pm to 7.15pm at Meliden community centre, it is open to girls aged between 7 and 10 years. To register an interest in joining please go to: www.girlguiding.org.uk
