TEAMS from across North Wales are currently battling a blaze on Bangor mountain.

A fire covering about 100 square metres of grass was reported to North Wales Fire and Rescue at about 3pm this afternoon.

Fire crews from Bangor, Caernarfon and Llandudno are still in the process of containing the fire after more than two hours on the scene.

A spokesperson for fire said: "We were called to a fire at 3.04pm on Saturday, July 13.

"All three appliances are still on the scene, which has affected about 100 square metres.

"The cause of the fire is currently unknown as we are focused on trying to put it out."
