Britannia Bridge accident Traffic Wales
THE Britannia bridge on the A55 is now open in both directions following a collision with a lorry and a car.
The accident which happened this morning caused motorists serious delays as traffic backed up during the day.
North Wales Police said: "The A55 Britannia bridge is now open in both directions.
"Heavy traffic is expected in the area for some time. Thank you for your patience."
Police had been called at 10.57am today (Thursday) after the incident.
It is thought there were no serious injuries.
