"FEARSOME" creations have been made by school children.
As part of the Prestatyn Flower Show Schools Competition, pupils were asked to create a Dragon using recyclable materials.
A total of 12 were designed.

The first prize winners from each school were then entered into the Prestatyn Flower Show Competition. Results are: Nia Benson 1st, Harry Wilford-Tiernan 2nd and Matilda Hall 3rd.

Business owners in Prestatyn High Street will be hosting the results of the Prestatyn Flower Show Schools Competition.
Pauline Mylchreest, Prestatyn Flower Show organiser, said: "Dragons was the theme chosen to celebrate the 25th Prestatyn Flower Show and has proved to be popular, judging by the inventive and imaginative use of materials, some of which were recycled.

"The judge, Pam Burne-Jones faced a difficult challenge when faced with such a high standard but choices, though hard, had to be made.
"All those who entered have received their well-deserved prizes and certificates and the Prestatyn Flower Show Committee congratulate them on their artistic skills."
A dragon hunt is being held.
After July 23, residents can collect an entry form available at Bon,121 High Street, Prestatyn.
The first three correct entries drawn out on August 12 will receive a small prize.
