REPORTS issued by the National Rail warn travellers to expect delays after a person has been hit by a train between Flint and Llandudno Junction.

This incident is causing disruption to trains between Chester and Llandudno Junction with all lines in the area currently blocked as delays and cancellations are expected to continue until the end of the day.

In a statement by the National Rail, a spokesman said: “A person has been hit by a train between Flint and Llandudno Junction and this is causing disruption to trains between Chester and Llandudno Junction. All lines in the area are currently blocked.

“If you have been affected by what happened on the network today, there is always someone to talk to. You can contact the Samaritans on 116 123 from any phone for a confidential chat.”

Emergency services are in attendance.

Passengers are advised that all tickets will be accepted on all Arriva Bus services in North Wales due to the disruption.
