FIREFIGHTERS attended an incident in Holyhead last night (Wednesday) after a laptop had caught fire and burnt a hole through a sofa.
A call was received at 8.18pm and two crews attended, using two hose jets and four breathing apparatuses to extinguish the blaze.
Following the incident, a spokesperson for the Fire Service said: "Thankfully no one was hurt but the incident is a stark warning to never leave laptops charging and unattended.
"Laptops and mobile phones can get hot when charging- keep them away from combustible materials & use the correct charger."
