A CHARITY is giving people who have lost touch with their loved ones the opportunity to reconnect and rebuild relationships this coming Father’s Day.

The Salvation Army Wrexham, located on Garden Road, has a range of complimentary cards available for those that may need support and a helping hand in reconnecting with loved ones on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16.

The Christian church and charitable organisation will also post the cards for people that want to write one but don’t have the courage to post.

Captain Sandra Davis, leader of The Salvation Army Wrexham said: “Our aim is to help the local community in all forms and this includes reconnecting people and rebuilding relationships that for whatever reason have broken down.

“Sometimes a gentle push and a bit of encouragement goes a long way and it’s all about making the most of that window of opportunity.

“We hope that by having the cards available, and to take the pressure out of actually putting it in the post box, we can plant the seeds that can then start to grow again. In some cases a card is all that is needed in the first instance.”

The Salvation Army will also be available for support and guidance should anyone that takes a card from them need ongoing support.
