TWO people have been taken to hospital after their car ploughed into trees on a notorious stretch of the A542.
Following the incident, which involving a single vehicle, which on the Horseshoe Pass at about 8.40pm on Monday, June 10, two passengers have been taken by road to Wrexham Maelor General.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said : “We were called on Monday 10 June at approximately 8.32pm to reports of a road traffic accident involving a single vehicle having gone off the road and hit trees near the Horseshoe Pass.
"We responded with one ambulance and two patients were transported by road ambulance to Maelor General Hospital in Wrexham.”
North Wales Police were present on the scene, with a spokesman detailing the vehicle in question as a blue Peugeot 107.
A crew from the North Wales Fire and Rescue was also in attendance, however a spokesperson confirmed that their service wasn't required as the passengers had already exited the vehicle.
