A PENSIONER has died following a road traffic collision on Anglesey last month.

The one-vehicle collision happened on Gorad Road, Valley on Monday, May 20 at approximately 3:20pm and involved a white Peugeot.

The driver, a man aged in his 70’s, was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by ambulance but was later transferred to hospital in Stoke. He died in hospital on Friday May 24.

Bryn Evans, Evidence Gatherer for North Wales Police is appealing for any witnesses to come forward. He said: “Our thoughts remain with the gentleman’s family at this sad time.

“We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have seen the Peugeot being driven just prior to it colliding with a wall to come forward.

“Equally we are appealing to anybody who may have been travelling along Gorad Road at around the same time as the collision and who may have dash cam to contact us.”
