Llanelwy WI
THE April meeting for Llanelwy WI started with the president Denise D’Albertson welcoming all the members and guests.
Members were treated to a culinary delight, with Kathy Roberts giving those present a cookery demonstration of poached salmon with herb butter, which was served with a Mediterranean-style couscous.
The salmon was very tasty and succulent, and it was enjoyed by the members, with many having “seconds”!
This was followed by banoffee pie, which was enjoyed by those with a sweet tooth!
The vote of thanks was given by Anwen Hughes.
Llanelwy WI's next meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 7 at St Asaph Cricket Club, starting at 7.15pm.
The speaker will be Sue Edwards, who will be demonstrating Tai Chi and members will be having a go afterwards.
Llanelwy WI always offers a warm welcome to all visitors and anybody who would like to join can just turn up.
