THE Pontio Arts Centre has now re-opened following a fire which took place in the building yesterday morning.
Four fire crews were in attendance at the building on Deiniol Road, Bangor, to help tackle the blaze which is believed to have occurred on the fifth floor.
Damage from the fire was confined to 20 square metres of the roof space. Staff and students were evacuated from the Bangor University-ran site but nobody was injured during the incident.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service say investigations into the cause of the fire are now underway.
Pontio's Facebook page confirmed that the building will be "open as usual today".
The Students Union, located inside the building, will remain closed but is expected to re-open tomorrow.
