ANGLESEY Motorcycle Club members have recently raised a total of £2400 for three chosen charities.

The substantial sum was raised during the group's recent Egg Run event held over Easter, which was supported by Anglesey Circuit and GD Electrical.

It means that £800 each has been handed over to the Alzehimer's Society, St. David's Hospice and the Muscular Dystrophy UK charity.

In addition, the club also managed to collect over 200 Easter Eggs during the event, which have since been distributed between children at Ysgol y Bont school, Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital in Bangor and Ty Gobaith.

Anglesey Motorcycle Club secretary Eddie Howarth said: "We would like to thank everybody for their generosity this year which has been a record year for the Anglesey Egg Run in terms of monies raised and Easter Eggs donated.

"The club received support from many people including Asda Llangefni, Tesco Holyhead and the general public too - we could not have done this without them.
