A DRUGS raid has been carried out by North Wales Police at an address in Caernarfon town centre.

A spokesman for North Wales Police said: “Special constables played a part in the raid."

He added: Based upon information provided to us by the local community, officers executed a warrant at a property in Caernarfon this morning.

"The Priority Crime Team, together with Special Constable colleagues and the neighbourhood policing team were acting in an ongoing drugs investigation."

Inspector Dafydd Curry said: “We are grateful to local community for their assistance. We have listened to local people’s concerns and will always act upon information provided. We will not tolerate any criminal activity that compromises the safety of our community especially around drugs which ruins people’s lives. I would encourage anyone with information to contact us on 101.”
