POLICE are asking for information after a van and tools were stolen from Deiniolen and was later dumped in Caernarfon
The white, Citroen Belingo was taken between 3.30am and 6.30am on Saturday April 6.
It was later found abandoned in the Maes Hyfryd area of Caernarfon.
The van had been damaged and the owner’s work equipment, including a tool box, tools, lighting and radio were stolen.
PC Jamie Atkinson said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the van leaving Deiniolen and then travelling through Bethel, into Cae Bold in Caernarfon before it came to a stop in Maes Hyfryd at about 6.35am on Saturday morning.”
He added: “This vehicle would have been noticeable as it was being driven with one bare front wheel rim, causing damage to the road.”
Anyone with information relating to the van is asked to call PC Atkinson at Caernarfon Police Station on 101 or use the live webchat https://www.north-wales.police.uk/contact/live-chat-support quoting reference 19100159846. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
