AN OVERTURNED caravan blocked a part of the A55 for several hours earlier today.
The A55 North Wales Expressway (westbound) was blocked from J24A Primrose Hill (Bodelwyddan) to J24 A547 Rhuddlan Road (Abergele).
Both lanes were closed at one stage and the recovery process took nearly three hours.
Traffic became stationary due to the overturned vehicle and Traffic Wales, the Police and Ambulance services were on the scene dealing with the incident.
The caravan has now been uprighted and recovered. All lanes re-opened at around 2pm.
