DRAMATIC drone footage has been released following the mile-long gorse blaze at Betws-y-Coed.
North Wales Police assisted colleague in the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, searching out hotspots during the fire on Friday.
Residents had been evacuated from their home as firefighters from across the region battled the flames.
Appliances from Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Dolgellau, Corwen, Cerrigydrudion, Llanrwst, the Incident Command Unit from Rhyl and the High Volume Pump from Llandudno tackled the flames.
A call was received at 4.16pm on Friday. A Fire Service spokesperson said the incident involved a one-mile fire front and residents from a local property close to the incident were evacuated as precautionary measure.
The images were released via a Tweet from the North Wales Police Drones section (NWPD).
It said: "We assisted our colleagues @northwalesfire Friday night at the fire in Betws-y-Coed.
"Footage from our thermal camera was used for identifying hotspots."
