TWO young members of Bangor Swimming Club have raised nearly £600 for Marie Curie and Cancer Research by taking on the world's biggest annual fundraising swim - the Swimathon.
Ruby Parry, 10 and Millie Fletcher, 11, were among the first to take on Swimathon's Triple 5k Challenge recently.
Having completed the 5k Challenge in 2018 Ruby and Millie, who both swim with Bangor Swimming Club, we’re keen to take on a bigger challenge this year and when Swimathon announced the brand new Triple 5k Challenge there was no stopping them.
The girls completed their swims in Harlech (March 26), Bangor (March 30) and Caernarfon (March 31), raising almost £600 for the two charities.
