A 32-YEAR-OLD Llandudno man who admitted sexual assault on a young woman who’d been asleep in a bed was starting a 45 month's prison term on Friday
Jamie Evans, of Conwy Road, must also register as a sex offender.
Judge Merfyn Hughes QC said they had been drinking and taken cocaine, but the victim had made it clear she had no romantic feelings for Evans.
Defence barrister Sarah Yates at Caernarfon crown court said Evans was remorseful and there was a letter of apology.
There were character references and he’d suffered great losses in his life. The defendant would also lose his job.
