HOLYHEAD'S former Superdrug store is up for auction with a guide price of £75,000.

The former store on Market Street closed in March.

The Holyhead shop will feature among more around 100 lots at Pugh’s next North West property auction at the AJ Bell Stadium in Manchester on Tuesday, April 9.

The 3,000 sq ft two-storey property is situated in the busy town centre of Holyhead, and is surrounded by a range of local and national traders with high levels of footfall.

Paul Thompson, managing director of Pugh auction house, said: “This is an excellent high street property in a convenient location at the centre of a busy port town.

“Being in such a high footfall area and having easy access to the A55 expressway, the property represents a good business opportunity.

He added: “The high street is an important part of Holyhead and we welcome the opportunity to help the area by finding a new owner for this property.”
