WHAT kind of place will Gwynedd be in years to come?

That is the question being asked in a new theatrical production 'Costa Byw,' by Theatr Bara Caws.

Cwmni Theatr Bara Caws, in association with Cwmni Tebot, present the new show which translates as 'Costa Living.'

The fun-filled review combines comedy and tragedy whilst imagining what will happen to Gwynedd in the future.

Through the eyes of numerous characters we see the results of our present apathy, as they try to make sense of their messy world, and discover what led them to live in such a place

During the show audiences also get a glimpse of some current problems - from immigration, to lack of jobs, house prices, politicians, climate change, shrinking cream eggs - all these and more.

The highly relevant production has been written by three young, local playwrights: Mari Elen, Mared Llywelyn a Llŷr Titus.

The actors are Iwan Charles a Llyr Edwards and the play is directed by Betsan Llwyd.

Costa Byw is on tour from Tuesday, March 26 – Saturday, April 13.

Theatr Bara Caws is a community theatre company which has become one of the cornerstones of the theatrical world in Wales.

It is one of the oldest professional community theatre companies working in the Welsh language
