A DISTRAUGHT Holyhead pensioner is appealing for help to find her beloved cat Chuckie.

The black and white eight-year-kitty went missing from her Llwyn Briscoe, home sometime between 9pm and 10.15pm on Saturday, March 23.

Her owner Gwyneth Preece, who has three other cats, all related to Chuckie, is hoping to trace the missing moggy.

"Chuckie will be eight in June, she's black and white, with white paws and white on her front, she has a very small head, and she has no teeth, as she had to have them out recently.

"Me and my son have been out shouting for her, shaking munchies, but we can't find her. We are very upset about it all. It is very unusual for her, and we think someone may have taken her as another neighbour lost her cat recently and she was devastated too.

"She doesn't usually go further than the back or front of our flat, or stays in the cul-de-sac, she's a very homely cat, very sweet natured, and will go up to people to be petted."

"It's very upsetting, not knowing where she is, we have lots of cars coming and going out the back of our flat, and we are worried someone may have picked her up."
