GET your motor running...it is that time of year when Anglesey bikers take to the roads looking for adventure, Easter eggs and charity donations.

The Anglesey Motorcycle Club's annual Easter Egg Run brings 200-300 riders, together to raise money for charities and to collect Easter eggs.

Bikers pay £5 to take part, donate Easter eggs, or collect them along the route.

The eggs are later given to Ysgol Y Bont, the children's ward at Ysbty Gwynedd and Ty Gobaith, children's hospice.

The event, on Sunday, March 24, also raises cash for St David's Hospice, Muscular Dystrophy and the Alzheimer's Society.

The bikers meet up at the Four Crosses, Menai Bridge, on Sunday morning, from 9am, with a 10.30am, prompt start. They follow a 50-60 mile route along the A5025 to Cemaes Bay, with a 45 minute stop, then onto the Tesco carpark at Holyhead, via Trearddur Bay, and then onto Trac Môn, Anglesey Circuit, near Rhosneigr.

Organiser Andy Hughes said: "We invite bikers of all riding levels to join us, and there'll be everything from Mopeds to Harleys, superbikes, to vintage and classics bikes.

"We hope people will come out to support us."
