A 49-YEAR-OLD man who entered court with the aid of a wheeled walking frame was on Friday sent to the crown court for trial on drugs charges.

Brian Evans of Moriah Terrace, Llithfaen, gave no indication of plea when he appeared before magistrates at Llandudno.

He is accused of being concerned in the supply of amphetamine, producing cannabis , offering to supply Class B drugs and unlawfully abstracting electricity.

Evans, arrested on Thursday at Bryn Beryl Hospital, Pwllheli, was bailed to appear at Caernarfon crown court next month.

His solicitor Bethan Williams said : β€œIt’s accepted it should be heard in the crown court.”
