THE FINALS of two Rhyl & District Sunday League Cups were decided over the weekend.

In the Premier Cup semi-finals, Mally crushed Towyn Rangers 15-0. Lee Ellis bagged a double hat-trick, Scott Hall grabbed a treble of his own, Steve Hughes hit a brace and Ricky Jones, Jamie Moorhouse, John Paul Colville and Kevin Colville completed the scoreline.

Bar Bow will join them in the final after beating Sun Inn 4-3 on penalties. Kevin Berts put the home side ahead just before the half hour mark. However, a late equaliser from Josh Williams saw Sun take the tie to Extra Time and penalties, where Bar Bow eventually come out on top.

Elsewhere, Royal Oak progressed to the Matty Perez Cup final with a 6-2 win at FC Prestatyn. Royal took the lead through Matty Reece before Martin King doubled their advantage. Ethan West pulled a goal back for Prestatyn but Syed Jones and Josh Brown made it 4-1.

It then went to 4-2 when Scott Stewart scored but two more goals from Reece saw him complete a hat-trick and book Royal's place in the final.

Joining them will be The Alex who brushed The Swan aside with a 7-0 victory thanks to goals from Nicky Pope (2), Nathan Williams (2), Dean Roberts, Gaz Sharp and Dave Maddocks.

Next Sunday's fixtures are as follows: NWCFA Sunday Challenge Cup semi-finals; Bar Bow v FC Mally and Swan Inn v FC Prestatyn. League; Diane's Cars v The Royal Oak and The Alex v Sun Inn.

A league meeting will be held at the Victory Club in Rhyl from 7.45pm this Thursday.
