THE search is on for a “dynamic” or "unconventional" family to be filmed in what has been described as a "ground-breaking" documentary.

Keo Films is making a brand new documentary for a major UK broadcaster about family life in Britain today.

The organisation is on the look out for a modern family from the Gywnedd and Anglesey area, or across North Wales, to film aspects of their daily lives over the course of a few months.

"We are very much hoping to speak to families of all different shapes and sizes, from all different walks of life," said Radhika Patel, Keo Films assistant producer.

"We are looking for the sort of people who have really interesting family dynamics.

"Most importantly, we need a family who is keen to share their unique story with us."

The documentary is being made by the same people who created Channel 4's "Eden" and BBC One's "Britain's Best Home Cooks."

The film company says it is hoping to hear from families from any background.

"The family could come in all different shapes and sizes," Radhika said.

"It might be that they are a blended family, so divorced and remarried with step siblings, or the family members could be from different ethnic backgrounds.

"It might even be that the family is made up of people with different sexualities and gender identities."

"We are just looking for interesting families, who live with interesting dynamics, they may be a large family or they may be just very unconventional."

"Overall, they must have that keen interest in sharing their family's unusual or interesting story for what is to be a groundbreaking documentary."

Anyone who is over 18 and would like to apply or wish to nominate a family they know, is asked to contact the company via email at: family@keofilms.com
