A CRASH on A55 on Anglesey involved multiple cars and a pedestrian.
The Westbound carriageway between Junction 2 Valley and Junction 3 Kingsland has re-opened following the incident but the Eastbound carriageway remains closed.
The road traffic collision happened earlier today. One person has been taken to hospital.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called on Thursday, January 17 at approximately 12.45pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving multiple cars and a pedestrian on the A55 near Valley, Holyhead.
"We responded with two rapid response vehicles, two emergency ambulances, an ambulance officer and one air ambulance, where one person was taken to Gwynedd Hospital, Bangor.”
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "The Westbound carriageway between jct 2 Valley and jct 3 Kingsland has now re-opened.
"The Eastbound carriageway remains closed and will be closed for some time following a serious road traffic collision. Diversions are in place. We'll update when we can."
