RHYL'S team of coastal heroes have come to the aid of a stricken motorist.
Members of Rhyl Lifeboat crew earlier helped the owner of a vehicle stranded on the town's beach due to high tides.
The red, Mazda 2 vehicle was spotted on Saturday by social media users who began sharing photos and joking about its predicament.
While one joked about it's sat nav directions another said: "Looks like the engine is flooded".
Another posted: "He was told to dip the headlights".
Paul Frost MBE, Rhyl RNLI Lifeboat's Deputy 2nd Coxswain and Lifeboat Press officer, tweeted a photo from today (Sunday) and their part in assisting with the rescue.
He said: "The owners arrived and we offered a few pounds of help.
"It took about twenty minutes of digging to release it. About 12 volunteers were involved.
I don't know where the owners were from but the vehicle was taken away on a low loader."
