CAERNARFON TOWN Football Club has secured a sponsorship deal with Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK for the third year running.

The club's senior players will wear the Jones Bros’ logo on their polo shirts and tracksuits as part of the renewed partnership.

The leading civil engineering firm has also purchased a pitch-side board at the club’s Oval ground, which regularly welcomes more than 1,000 spectators on match days.

Hefin Lloyd Davies, contracts director at Jones Bros, said: “We’re pleased to be backing Caernarfon Town, as the club is a real community hub with impressive attendance figures and a growing academy.

"The Jones Bros logo looks brilliant on the shirts and tracksuits, and we wish manager Sean Eardley and his side all the best in their quest for European glory!"

Caernarfon have been playing in the top flight (JD Welsh Premier League) for the first time since 2008 this season and qualification for the league’s top six in phase two of the season has raised hopes of entering the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League competition.

Commenting on the deal with Jones Bros, Phil Jones, commercial manager at Caernarfon Town said: "This sponsorship means a lot to the club, as we share Jones Bros’ values of employing local people.

"Although this is a first team partnership, the investment will be filtered down into our academy, helping ensure our youth players receive high quality coaching."

Established in the 1950s, Jones Bros is now being run by the second and third generations of the founding family.

In addition to supporting the local club, Jones Bros is preparing to start work on the Caernarfon and Bontnewydd bypass in a joint venture with Balfour Beatty.

The bypass will be constructed to connect the Goat roundabout on the A499/A487 junction to the Plas Menai roundabout, reducing congestion in Caernarfon town centre.
