CRICCIETH’s two lifeboats saved 10 lives and were called out on 30 rescues during 2018.
Most of the rescued people had been trapped on sandbanks, but some were on boats, both yachts and fishing boats.
An RNLI spokesman said: “Our two boats and their crews were busy throughout the year. In addition to the rescues they stood by yachts in difficulties, escorting them to safety, and also towed three boats to shelter.”
The station has an Atlantic 85 rigid inflatable boat and an Aranca inshore rescue boat.
