Hafan y Môr holiday park in Pwllheli has launched a recruitment campaign.

The park is looking for more than 100 new staff in areas such as food and beverage, security, activities and leisure, and accommodation, following an announcement of a multi-million-pound investment package.

This is part of a wider investment programme in five of the parent company’s holiday parks to trial innovative new concepts, such as an outdoor adventure area and a brand new dining experience.

Andrew Baker, General Manager at Hafan y Môr said: “This is a fantastic opportunity. Joining will give countless chances to learn, excellent training and full support to gain qualifications.

“We’re excited to welcome more bright and breezy people to our team to help us to delight our holidaymakers and owners.”

The current restaurant will be replaced by the Coast House, which will bring multiple dining experiences under one roof. That will create 60 jobs including front of house roles, bar tenders, in the waiting team and hosts, chefs, pizza chefs, prep chefs and kitchen porters to work in the new kitchens.

As well as a family-friendly restaurant, The Coast House will include a pub, new coffee and cake offer, and the Pizza Deck, which will make finding the perfect dish a breeze.

Part of the investment will go towards renovating the holiday park’s current outdoor activity area to introduce a brand new all action, multi functional zone known as Dragon Lakes Adventure Village. As a result of this, there will be 60 new jobs, 30 of which will be activity and leisure team members required to support the new development, as well as 30 lifeguards for the swimming pool which recently received a £3million refurbishment. There will also be more vacancies for the peak school summer holiday period.

Other roles will be available across the entertainment venue and main complex, on-site shop, reception, and in the security, accommodation and grounds teams.

Hafan y Môr Holiday Park will be hosting open days for The Coast House on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 February. To register your interest, call 07437189282 or email kevin.harkin@haven.com
