CAERGYBI'S James Ryan ends 2018 as the Anglesey League's top scorer after taking his total number of goals to 42 at the weekend.

The prolific forward bagged seven, including an overhead kick, as Cybi crushed Llandegfan 12-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Dan Lowies (2), Glenn North, Dave Webb and a spectacular diving header from Mike Owen completed the route. Midfielder Robert Boyes scored for Llandegfan who are still searching for their first win of the season.

Elsewhere, Holyhead Hotspur Reserves beat Bodorgan 5-1 thanks to braces from Martin McClymont and Deian Parry and a strike from Ben Williams. Iwan Parry was the goalscorer for the visitors.

In the Megan Cup, Bryngwran Bulls came away from Arriva Bangor with an impressive 6-1 win. Matty Roberts was the star of the show, netting a hat-trick, before Jerome Sillence (2) and Gwyndaf Owen bagged the others.

Pentraeth Reserves will be joining them in the next round, having beaten Llanfairpwll 2-1 at home. Goals from Tom Jones and Kenny Williams saw them progress.
