LET me start off by wishing all the people of Arfon and beyond a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Like many other proud parents at Christmas, on Sunday I watched my small children play out the story of the birth of Jesus. Along with the other Caersalem children – it was a great team effort.

They were happy and excited - and of course they were all completely brilliant too!

And their message, simply, was do not be afraid.

Now, whatever your religion, or even if you have no religion at all, that message should give us all hope that tomorrow will be better.

Many of us have gone through pretty hard times over the last year and the signs aren’t looking so good for 2019 at the moment either.

However, I believe that if we pull together and help one another out, then we need not be afraid. And I promise my constituents in Arfon that I will do my duty by them and fight their corner.

Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda i chi oll.
