CHRISTMAS always seems to heighten the extremes within our society – the huge disparity between those who have much and those who have very little, if anything at all.
Extreme wealth can coexist alongside extreme poverty in many of our towns and cities in north Wales.
Social media is agony for those who cannot offer or afford their families the perfectly filtered abundance of gifts that are so often paraded in pictures online.
Many find Christmas a difficult time of year for all sorts of reasons, while several others find much joy and hope during this season of good will, especially at a time of such uncertainty regarding the future.
Whatever your circumstances this Christmas, I hope that you will find comfort and contentment among loved ones and I wish you an abundance of those things that truly matter.
I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of my constituents, and say a grateful thanks to them for their support during the year.
