AN ANNUAL music tradition is set to get the audience bopping at Menai Bridge.
The popular "Boxing Night Bop," with The Jukes, and special guests Banda Bacana, is being held at the Victoria Hotel, on Tuesday, December 26.
In a tradition which dates back to 1984, the popular music event with Jukes and friends, is an unmissable evening of rockin' rhythm and blues and stompin' soul.
Full of festive frolics, the event which attracted a big crowd last year, is set to to again lift Yuletide spirits.
Special guests this year are Afro-Latin funksters Banda Bacana who have just released their new album ‘Stop the Planet.’
Their appearance at the Vic, follows a sell-out gig at Pontio, Bangor's arts and entertainment centre. They are guaranteed to get the dance-floor moving.
Promoter Owen Hughes says: "This should be a hot one. Get there early!" Doors open at 8pm and admission is £10.
