Bomb Disposal Team
EXPLOSIVES experts have been called to a south Gwynedd village today after an unexploded mortar was found.
The bomb squad and police were called to the rural location at Talsarnau, and the area was cordoned off for safety.
A police spokesperson said: "We had a report on Sunday afternoon that an unexploded mortar had been found at a rural location in Talsarnau.
"The EOD (Explosives Ordinance Disposal) are expected to attend the location today (Monday) to make the device safe."
