A 22-year-old Liverpool man has been remanded in custody in a brief hearing at a special court accused of a stabbing at Holyhead last March.
Brandon McAllister of Viking Close, Litherland is charged with wounding local man Jamie Lee Wilson at Waterside, Holyhead, on March 6 with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
David Mainstone, prosecuting at Llandudno, alleged that Mr Wilson's lung and bowel had been injured.
Defence solicitor Nia Dawson said there would be a not guilty plea at the crown court.
She made no application for bail and McAllister was sent to Caernarfon crown court where he will appear on December 17.
