A MAN who was spending £350 a week on cocaine had been warned that his nose was on the verge of collapse, a court was told.
Julian John Young, 37, admitted possessing the class A drug.
North East Wales Magistrates Court was told he had been advised that if he did not stop snorting cocaine it could well lead to facial disfigurement.
Young, of Alyn Road in Buckley, was fined £300 with £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
The Mold court was told that police executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act on July 6.
Snap bags were found in a safe in the bedroom which when forensically examined had a small amount of cocaine of 76 per cent purity on them.
Interviewed, he said he was a heavy cocaine user and spent £350 a week on the drug.
As a result his nose was on the verge of collapsing, prosecutor Rhian Jones told the court.
Gary Harvey, defending, said his client was working and had three dependent children.
District judge Gwyn Jones said that he was spending a significant amount of money on material which he should not be taking and which was having a significant impact upon his own wellbeing.
