PREPARE to be amazed by the interesting and unusual specimen collections at a Bangor Museum.
Bangor University's Brambell Natural History Museum will be joining with museums from across the country for this year’s Welsh Museums Festival, from October 27 until November 4.
The annual event is an opportunity for everyone who lives in Wales, or is visiting over the half term, to explore museums. This year’s programme of events includes exhibitions, re-enactments and workshops, through to Halloween themed activities.
The Brambell Natural History Museum, will be open to the public on Saturday, November 3, from 11am-3pm. The museum, is not usually accessible to the public. There will be a chance to ask volunteers questions volunteers, and there will be an activities corner for children of all ages.
The activities are intended to improve access to Bangor University’s hidden museum collections and is part of bangor's Storiel museum's work in partnership with Bangor University. Brambell is opposite ASDA. Directions are available on the on website http://www.bangor.ac.uk/tour/LocationMap.pdf
