A man has been charged and remanded to appear before court following the road traffic collision on the A499 near Penygroes this morning (Friday).
North Wales Police say that 29-year-old James Leach of Chelford, Cheshire has been charged with dangerous driving and failing to stop after an accident. He has been remanded to appear before Llandudno Magistrates tomorrow (Saturday).
Police continue to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the collision which happened on the A499 between the junction for Dinas Dinlle and Allt Goch, Penygroes shortly after 5am today.
The collision involved an orange Ford Ranger pick-up type vehicle and a VW Caddy van.
The driver of the VW was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with serious, but not life threatening injuries.
