TWELVE new homes could be built on the site of farm outbuildings after an outline planning application was submitted to Anglesey Council.
The plans, including four two bedroom affordable homes, would be built at Rhos Farm in Pentraeth and would involve the demolition of some existing farm buildings.
According to the design and access statement, the farm is no longer operational and the site is located within the village’s development boundary, near the Rhos caravan site.
“It is considered that the proposed layout is acceptable in terms of design and access considerations,” notes the application statement.
“It is considered that there is a good mix of house types and that the houses will be attractive to local persons. The design will be in keeping with the local vernacular of the settlement and compliments the character of the area.”
In all, the development would encompass four two bedroom homes, four three bedroom dwellings and another four four bedroom homes.
Its expected that Anglesey Council’s planning department will consider the outline application over the coming weeks.
