POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision in which a woman car passenger died near Tywyn in Gwynedd.
The three vehicle collision, involving a Land Rover Defender and trailer, a silver Vauxhall Corsa and black Ford Focus, happened at 11.01am, on the B4405 at Tal y Llyn, on Monday.
Sgt Trystan Bevan, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “Sadly the female passenger in the Corsa was pronounced dead at the scene and the male driver was taken hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.”
He added: “I am keen to hear from anyone who may have been travelling along the road at the time and who witnessed the collision.”
