THE new president of the Anglesey Show. will be keeping it in the family.
Dairy, sheep and pig farmer Geraint Roberts, 61, has had lifetime interest in the show, and his wife Nerys, sons Gwyn and Gethin, and daughter Siân all enjoy taking part. Geraint, who farms at Brynsiencyn, got involved with the show as a teenager in the Young Farmers in the 1970s. He became a regular with his family showing his Landrace pigs and became pig superintendent steward in 1992. At 27 Geraint became the show's committee chairman. Geraint said: "I never thought someday I'd be president, it is a fantastic honour. The whole family is looking forward to the show. "
