THE Menai Food Festival will be presenting a family friendly feast and plenty of entertainment this weekend.

The event will begin at 9.30am on Saturday (August 4), with admission costing just £3 per person and free parking available.

Following the success of the Beaumaris Food Festival last month, the organisers have been tasked with setting up stalls in the heart of Menai Bridge for their next event.

Various stalls and entertainment will be scattered across the centre of town, on the recreation field and surrounding areas.

The festival will host a wide variety of food and drink producers, many of which are from the local area, plus local and international street food which will be available throughout the day.

There will also be arts and craft stands aplenty, supplying work from a range of local artists and craftworkers.

Live music will be played from 10am through till the closing time of 5.30pm with the likes of Wil Tan and Monswn performing and a small fun fair will also be set-up on site.

Organisers say that a "generous percentage" of the money raised on the day will go towards helping local charities and organisations.
