Road closed after three-vehicle collision.
A ROAD on the edge of Caernarfon has now re-opened following a three-vehicle crash which caused one to catch fire.
The A487 had been shut in both directions, and affected traffic moving between the town, through Y Felinheli and onwards to Bangor.
The crash happened between Caernarfon Road and Belle View and traffic had come to a standstill.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they had received a call regarding the incident shortly after 1pm.
