A BUSINESS on Anglesey received some royal recognition recently when HRH the Prince of Wales presented the owner with an award.
Sew Relaxed, a newly established workshop in Valley, won the 2018 New Business award at a ceremony set up by the Prime Cymru charity.
Prince Charles, patron of the organisation, was on hand to present Sew Relaxed owner Wendy Eaton with the award at Bodysgallen Hall, Llandudno.
Prime Cymru was initially founded by Prince Charles to support people over 50 returning to work or setting up their own business.
When attempting to set up her business, Wendy saw an ad on social media and was quickly put in touch with local mentor Jan Walker.
Jan then provided her with advice and guidance as well as free training in areas like marketing and business skills.
Thanks to this, Wendy now runs sewing days at her workshop, catering for beginners to experts, and has seen the business grow steadily in its first year.
