THE Llangefni Carnival returned over the weekend to once again entertain guests with plenty of music, dancing and colour throughout.
As always, festival fever took over on Saturday as hundreds flocked to the town centre and beyond to join in with the celebrations on what was a perfect day in terms of weather.
The popular and lively parade left the secondary school at 11.30am before making its way through the town and onto the carnival field at the rugby club.
Carnival Queen for this year was Erin Mai, whilst Ceira was the princess.
There were plenty of fun floats, dancers and bands to be seen and heard at the field and fancy dress costumes galore too.
Postman Pat and Fireman Sam were in attendance, whilst the majorettes and children from Rhosmeirch and Bodffordd added some colour to the carnival with their costumes, flags and floats.
The bouncy castle, stalls and demonstrations kept guests busy throughout the day and the Britannia Wrestling provided something different
Mon Search and Rescue team collected £134.85 in donations from generous revellers in an event that organisers hailed as being a "huge success".
