A man driving a ride-on mower has been seriously injured after a collision on the A5 in Pentrefoelas on Monday evening.
The mower collided with an Audi TT car shortly before 5pm.
Emergency services attended the scene and the rider was airlifted to hospital in Stoke with serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life threatening.
Sergeant Meurig Jones of the Roads Policing Unit said: "We are appealing for any witnesses or anybody who may have been travelling along the A5 and who may have seen either vehicle just prior to the collision to come forward.
"The mower was in the process of crossing the A5 from one side to the other and the Audi was travelling towards the direction of Betws-y-Coed."
