FILM CREWS from a popular children’s tv show recently visited Anglesey to shoot scenes for an upcoming episode.
Cameramen tagged along with Blue Peter presenter Radzi Chinyanganya as he took to the Menai Strait to paddleboard alongside a group of Ysgol Friars pupils.
Sian Sykes of Psyched Paddleboarding also joined in with the session as Radzi and the pupils quickly found their confidence in the water.
All those who took part on the day also received a famous Blue Peter badge each.
Speaking about the rare opportunity, Sian Sykes said: “Today was pretty special, I had the pleasure of taking Radzi paddleboarding on the Menai Strait.
“To be joined by a great bunch of students from Ysgol Friars made it even better.
“I was pretty stoked and I was even given a blue Peter badge!”
Scenes filmed at the location are set to be shown on a Blue Peter episode on July 5.
