A NEW community room for use by charities and resident groups has been opened in a Holyhead supermarket.
The Tesco store has unveiled the room for local groups to use for activities and events.
Several organisations already use the new community Room, including nursery groups and volunteer-led charity Contact the Elderly, which arranges monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties for older people who live alone.
Mary Kitching, community champion at Tesco Holyhead, said: “We’ve already had a great response to our new community room, but we’d still like to hear from any groups who are in need of a space to meet.
“The room is a fantastic space that the local community can meet in and put to good use.”
